Our Work
Christian Mission to Gaza (CMG) exists to work with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to provide practical and spiritual assistance to the families of Gaza, one of the most densely populated and impoverished areas in the world. CMG also serves persecuted Christians in the Middle East, while informing the world of the faith and courage of these brothers and sisters, thereby inspiring believers to a deeper level of commitment to Christ and involvement in His Great Commission. We acknowledge that throughout Scripture God commands that refuge, provision, protection, and justice be extended to those who seek asylum; therefore CMG stands, supports, and advocates for refugees, widows, and orphans, as mandated by the word of God. CMG applies the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Good News of His love to the spiritual, physical, and social needs of the people of Gaza, the West Bank, and the Middle East through community development, discipleship, and relationship.
We serve to encourage, support, and equip our Chris and family, of persecuted Christians and refugees in Gaza and the Middle East, and to equip our Christian brothers and sisters in Gaza by helping to provide educational opportunities. Although feeding today’s hungry refugee families remains one of our most critical tasks, we are also committed to reducing the need for hunger relief tomorrow by helping their families and communities achieve more stable lives. To benefit the families we serve, we distribute food and essential items, support students, and deliver relief to families affected by while working on strategies for sustainable living. Near the end of this past fiscal year, the sudden effects of COVID-19 increased the level of hardship and food insecurity for families around the world. Through our programs in the fiscal year 2020, we distributed food coupons and essential items working with our partners to benefit more than 4,000 people in the Middle East.
