There are no words to describe...
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
Could you imagine yourself without electricity, limited water, limited food, limited medicine, no safe place, and feeling constantly unsafe and unable to provide or protect your family? This is the grim reality for many in Gaza right now. Resources are scarce, prices are soaring, and providing for families has become a daunting challenge. The situation is dire, with some resorting to using animal fodder to make bread, and even that is running out in some places.
Before the war, a 25 kg bag of flour cost $8; now, it's almost $200, if you can even find it. The devastation is palpable, with countless homes destroyed and many left homeless.
Yesterday, we received heartbreaking news: the Gaza Baptist building has suffered significant damage. The soldiers utilized the church, causing extensive harm to both its interior and exterior. A fire set inside the church worsened the damage.
But amidst these trials, we have seen God's hand at work. With the help of our partners, we were able to provide over 900 hot meals to people in both churches.
Additionally, in the past week, our church leaders in Gaza successfully withdrew funds to help provide them with food and aid over 100 new families with cash for essential support during these tumultuous times. As well as leaders in the West Bank have also accessed donations to assist families in need in Gaza.
We also continue with our ministry partners to distribute bread to civilians in the center of the Gaza Strip, not limited to church members.
This has only been possible because of your generous donations.
With your unwavering support, we will continue to provide hot meals to our churches and offer assistance wherever possible.
Your contributions are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by this conflict. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those that are in need.
As a reminder, the matching gift challenge is still going on. A group of anonymous donors have generously offered to match all donations up to $110,000! We would greatly appreciate your help in reaching our goal and supporting those who are in need.
