Extending Christ’s Love in Gaza & Beyond

“I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat… Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:35, 40

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

With hearts full of gratitude, we continue to witness how the Lord enables us to reach out with His love to the desperate civilians in Gaza. Through your prayers and support, we have been able to distribute thousands of hot meals to those in need, ensuring that families and individuals facing hardship do not go hungry.

Recently, we have distributed thousands of hot meals in southern and central Gaza, as well as in northern Gaza, the Latin Church, and the Greek Orthodox Church. These meals serve as a reminder that the Christian community remains present and steadfast in its care for those who are suffering.

Watch below our distribution efforts in action:

During meal distributions, we hear countless testimonies of both deep need and profound gratitude:

  • A young boy waiting at a camp said, “We have been waiting since morning for the meals. Thank you very much.”

  • An elderly woman shared, “There is nothing in my tent. We are waiting for the meals that you distribute. May God reward you with good.”

  • A mother, too ashamed to ask, quietly requested just two meals for her children, saying, “By God, there is not a tomato in my house or anything.” She was given three meals.

  • Many have asked for blankets and tarpaulins as their tents are leaking due to the rain, and some say their children have nothing to keep them warm.

Despite these hardships, gratitude and faith shine through. One group of young men assisting in the meal distribution told us, “Thank you to the church for the meals you provided. We hope you always remember us.”

Beyond Meals: Healing and Community Support

In addition to food relief, CMG is committed to long-term healing and empowerment for those affected by the crisis with the partnership of Elias and his ministry:

  • A trauma recovery training was held for Gaza residents, providing both Christian and scientific perspectives on healing.

  • A gathering of displaced Gaza families in the West Bank offered encouragement and community.

  • A training event for young people in the West Bank aimed to equip the next generation with faith-based resilience and hope.

We thank you for standing with us in prayer and generosity. Your support allows us to continue reflecting Christ’s love in a tangible way during these incredibly challenging times. As the needs grow, we remain committed to bringing hope, help, and the love of Christ to Gaza and beyond.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the ministry in Jordan as Hanna oversees its work and provides guidance.

  • Pray for the team from Noroton Presbyterian Church (Darien, CT) as they visit and support the ministry.

  • Lift up the Eyeglasses Ministry team from First Baptist Church (Garland, TX) as they travel and serve those in need.
