Sharing Christ's Love Through Acts of Compassion
Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,
Amid the immense challenges faced by the people of Gaza, we are honored to be vessels of God’s love. This past month, through your support, we have been able to touch lives, provide for immediate needs, and share Christ’s compassion in tangible ways.
1,120 Meals Distributed in Central Gaza
CMG volunteers worked tirelessly to serve 1,120 hot meals in the heart of Gaza. Each meal carried more than sustenance; it carried hope and a reminder of God’s unwavering presence.
Among the heroes of this effort is a resilient woman who prepares rice for a small price to support her family. Moved by the plight of displaced families, she insisted on not accepting payment for one sack of rice, offering her work as a gift. Her faith that “God will provide more” is a testament to the profound generosity within Gaza’s struggling communities.
A 14-year-old girl approached us, asking for two portions of rice for her five siblings. Orphaned by the ongoing conflict, she has taken on the role of caregiver. Her words, “God hasn’t forgotten us,” moved us deeply and reminded us of the resilience born of faith.
3,000 Meals and Water Distributions near Jabalia
Over two days, CMG provided 1,500 hot meals and clean drinking water each day to families in desperate need. This effort was possible under the umbrella of Gaza Baptist Church, ensuring aid reached even the most vulnerable. Watch the video below of the water distributions taking place.
A young man quietly thanked us, saying, “Thank you to the church, to Jesus, and to you.” As he walked away, his voice rose with gratitude, “God bless you all!”
A small girl, barefoot and cold, asked if we distributed shoes. She and her siblings had gone months without sandals. The rising cost of even basic footwear has made it unattainable for many families. Her story is a sobering reminder of the ongoing hardships faced by displaced children.
Blanket and Food Box Preparation
As winter approaches, we have provided essentials to Gazans who fled to Egypt and have nowhere to go. Thanks to your generosity, 250 blankets and 100 food boxes have been distributed, offering comfort and care to these vulnerable families in their time of need.
An elderly man recounted his time working in a church in Nazareth years ago. Observing the peaceful and loving nature of Christians left a lasting impression on him. He shared, “I wish I had stayed in Israel and become a Christian.” His gratitude for the church’s aid in Gaza underscores the impact of Christ’s love on those we serve.
As we continue to serve, we humbly ask for your prayers. Please pray for the strength and resources needed to sustain these vital efforts, ensuring we can continue to provide for those in desperate need. Remember the displaced families enduring the harsh realities of winter, so that they may find warmth, comfort, and hope during these trying times. Finally, pray that hearts will be touched and transformed, drawing people closer to the light of Christ and the peace that only He can provide. Your prayers are a cornerstone of our mission, empowering us to share God’s love in the midst of suffering.
Thank you for standing with us in this time of immense need. Together, we are making a difference and shining a light of hope in Gaza.
In Christ's Love,
