Prayers and Provision in Gaza
Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,
We come with hearts full of gratitude and a deep need for prayer as we continue our work in Gaza. Amid the unimaginable challenges, we remain in awe of God's steadfast goodness and faithfulness. We are deeply grateful for His guidance, allowing us to reach out to those in Gaza with His love, and for His constant presence as we walk this path together.
We have recently received a video that documents these efforts, showing the impact of your support and prayers.
We wanted to share some of the heartfelt reactions from those who have received aid. Many in Jabalia have expressed their gratitude, noting that, while international organizations have struggled to reach them with food and water, the church has been able to bring much-needed assistance through God’s blessing. People are amazed by the reach and impact of this work, with some even saying that the church has broken through the imposed and tightened siege in ways others could not.
The name of the church is shining among the people. We’ve heard from people in Jabalia, filled with awe, asking, "Is it true the church will bring us food today?" We assured them that, with God’s help, the church will continue to do all it can.
This work and aid is done under the Gaza Baptist Church. The people are truly amazed and have been asking, "How are you able to come here with food when others cannot?" It is by God's grace that we have been able to bring help to those in need, and we are thankful for this blessing to reach out in these challenging times.
We ask you to join us in prayer for our friends and neighbors in Gaza, particularly those who have been forced from their homes in the north, facing severe threats and danger. Please pray that CMG will be able to continue providing hot meals across the Gaza Strip—from the south to the middle and the north—sustaining hope and meeting basic needs in these trying times.
Above all, we pray for an end to this nightmare, for the Lord to raise up peacemakers in Gaza, Israel, and Lebanon, and for encouragement and strength rooted in His promises, even in the face of profound pain and suffering that has long weighed upon our hearts.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and faith.
In Christ's Love,
Pastor Hanna Massad
